Project Overview

Mirvish Village is a landmark mixed-use redevelopment featuring five residential towers with over 900 rental units, integrated retail spaces, and lively public areas. Scheduled for completion in 2025, the project is being delivered in phases, requiring extensive coordination among various trades and teams to maintain progress across the multi-tower site.

Challenges & Solutions

The scale and complexity of Mirvish Village presented a unique set of challenges. With five towers advancing on different schedules, our team had to navigate continuous scheduling adjustments and access coordination. Each space—whether a high-rise residence, commercial storefront, or heritage building—required specific finishes and materials, demanding both flexibility and precision.

Maintaining color consistency across hundreds of units and public spaces called for detailed quality assurance at every stage. Operating in a dense downtown environment, our team also managed logistics, safety protocols, and limited staging space by strategically planning off-hour and phased operations to minimize disruptions to ongoing construction activities.

Progress & Results

Despite the project’s complexity, our team has consistently met schedule and quality targets. Several residential towers and retail spaces have already opened, each featuring professional painting and coatings completed on time and to a high standard.

As work progresses toward the final stages, Destra remains committed to supporting the vision of Mirvish Village as a thriving, dynamic community. Full project completion is anticipated in 2025, with our contributions helping to bring new life to this iconic Toronto landmark.
